Built in the core area of Jiangbei District, the main downtown area of Chongqing, the tourist attraction is conveniently located as it is 20km away from Chongqing airport, 7km away from railway station and 5km away from long-distance bus station. It’s also adjacent to all major districts of Chongqing including Yuzhong District, Yubei District and Nan’an District as well as other tourist attractions.
There are good transport links among all the districts.
Covering an area of 100, 000 square meters, the tourist attraction is a city riverfront tourism cluster featuring such functions as sightseeing, hotel accommodation, dining, shopping, entertainment and leisure.
The scenic spot contains two major areas (A/B), three theme squares and six famous tourist attractions including “birthplace of Chongqing hotpot—Liujiatai, Jiangbei (original site)”, “Chongqing Hotpot World Banquet Museum”, “Likely Wharf Ocean Aquarium”, “fishing in Jialing River”, “Dunhuang Building-Gansu Guild Hall” and “Liujiatai 0km Point”.
With approximately 2km of 270° open and unshielded riverside view, the scenic spot is an ideal viewing spot of the 3D magic city tourism landscape of Chongqing.

Since it was formally open to the public, the tourist attraction of Likely Wharf has become a primary place for people to experience the unique wharf culture of Chongqing.
As a must-see tourist destination known as the birthplace of Chongqing hotpot, the scenic spot has become a popular tourist destination attracting both travelers and consumers. When inheriting and preserving the old wharf culture, the tourist attraction introduces originality, culture and art at the same time, thus creating a diversified experience space which combines history, culture and art. As a recognition, the scenic spot won the title of “Twelve Views of Bayu in New Chongqing” (urban landmark category) in August 2015.
